How to Verify Your E-Benefits PREMIUM Account

After creating your E-Benefits PREMIUM account, you’ll need to verify your identity. There are two ways to do this:

If You Receive Compensation or Pension Benefits:

Call 1-800-827-1000 with a valid ID and your compensation or pension details.

After the welcome message, press 1, then 7 for E-Benefits PREMIUM account verification.

When prompted, press 0 to hold and speak with a representative.

If You Do Not Receive Compensation or Pension Benefits

Visit the Veterans Administration San Diego Regional Office at: 8810 San Diego River Drive, San Diego, CA.

Bring your valid ID, DD-214, and your PREMIUM account login credentials.

For assistance, feel free to ask questions or get more information at the office.

Complete the application, print it, attach required documents, and bring it to the VSO.

If you need your DD-214, request it online through the National Personnel Records Center (NPRC).
