How to Verify Your E-Benefits PREMIUM Account
After creating your E-Benefits PREMIUM account, you’ll need to verify your identity. There are two ways to do this:
If You Receive Compensation or Pension Benefits:
- Call 1-800-827-1000 with a valid ID and your compensation or pension details.
- After the welcome message, press 1, then 7 for E-Benefits PREMIUM account verification.
- When prompted, press 0 to hold and speak with a representative.
If You Do Not Receive Compensation or Pension Benefits
- Visit the Veterans Administration San Diego Regional Office at: 8810 San Diego River Drive, San Diego, CA.
- Bring your valid ID, DD-214, and your PREMIUM account login credentials.
- For assistance, feel free to ask questions or get more information at the office.
- Complete the application, print it, attach required documents, and bring it to the VSO.
- If you need your DD-214, request it online through the National Personnel Records Center (NPRC).
